Nope, I’m not sat at the computer writing this right now. I’m offline having some downtime for a change. (Pre-scheduled post)
I just wanted to wish the world a merry christmas. If this hasn’t been your year, well I hope 2014 will be!
It’s a pretty exciting time for us, my daughter turned two (23rd December) and our twin daughters are almost here, Helen’s about to pop! 🙂
I know, a house full of raging hormones. Nearly every time we tell someone we’re about to have twin girls I hear the gasp of breath followed by something similar to “Ohhh, you’re outnumbered, just you wait!“. I then joke about moving one of my tenants out so I can hide to get some peace and quiet.
It’s almost routine really. :-/
You know once upon a time though it wasn’t always so shiney, we’d (the wife and I) almost conceded ourselves to the fact that we’d never have children, if I’m honest that was a little dark and gloomy, work was slow, money was extremely tight (gets like that when someone in your family and a close friend screw you over by stealing from you). Then Erin came along, and wow it’s been magical, every day since she has lightened up my life constantly bringing me new surprises each and every day. And now we have another two coming.
I guess what I’m saying is that even in the darkest of places you can find light, regardless of your beliefs, or what has gone or still going wrong. It’s always worth holding on because just around that next corner you never know.
We (the Bowers family) wish you all a very merry christmas, and all the best for the new year!!
