Really Dumbbin Men, Sorry Dustbin Men & The Council – Part Three

Well the community support people have been round, they looked at the photo’s and seem to think it’s perfectly fine to leave the handles right into the hedge even knowing that the wife and I might be away occasionally leaving my 72 year old mother to struggle with the wheely bin alone, there reply was “Can’t you ask one of your neighbours to help her”, we barely even speak to our neighbours most of time, everyone is always busy with their own life’s. My mothers not eligible to have the bin taken out and brought back in because the wife and I live here also.

Disgusting if you ask me!

They made the excuse of “that’s how the bin comes off the truck” so they can just toss it over to one side.

That’s OK though because next week I’ll be doing the exact same thing, only difference is the bin will be heavier due to the rubbish being in it and I’ll continue to do this for a long time to come, oh joy, what fun!

Really Dumbbin Men, Sorry Dustbin Men – Part Three

It just seems these guys don’t get it, honestly how hard can it be to do this job right.

Looks like I’m spending yet again more quality time on the phone complaining to the council again this week. They most certainly won’t be getting any tip this Christmas unless the tip is “Do you job properly” and they want lessons on how be a refuge collection person.

Dumbbin Men, Sorry Dustbin Men – Part Two

Well after my last blog about this I complained to the council but it seems nothing changes for the better, this week it was the black bin again, so I put it with the handles facing the road to make it easier for the dustbin men as I usually do.

They’ve just been, emptied the bin and lodged the handles in the hedge again this week. It wasn’t as bad as previous weeks because I could this time get one handle.

On the plus side, the bin was placed next to our drive this time and not down the road!

Oh well I suppose I should start putting the bin out the same way they bring it back!
